Cancellation & Downgrade Policy
Rain, snow or shine, Desert Beauty Lab adheres to a strict 24-hour cancellation and downgrade policy for all service appointments. This policy allows us to accommodate the high demand for appointments and guarantees a full day’s wage for our licensed nail artists and professional staff. This policy applies across the board whether booked in person, on the phone, via email or online. If for any reason you miss an appointment, are more than 10 minutes late, or downgrade your service, you will still be responsible for the full-service fee of your originally scheduled appointment. No refunds will be given to cancelled or rescheduled bookings with less than 12 hours’ notice. Same-day cancellations, service downgrades, and no-shows will be charged the full-service fee of your original scheduled appointment. Please note that cancellations can only be made through online booking or through calling the salon. We DO NOT accept cancellations by email or direct messaging from Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, or Google.

COVID Safety Precautions
Desert Beauty Lab have embraced the following standards of conduct as a response to COVID-19. Safety around your overall well-being is more crucial now than ever when managing stress and seeking a trusted, safe, and nurturing environment. Maintaining the well-being of our staffs and guests as our Top priority. More than anything we want you to feel safe and comfortable when you are at the salon.
Covid-19 Training – Prior to opening, all staff has undergone Nevada recommended training as well as Barbicide Sanitation and Disinfection Certification.
We highly recommend that you schedule your appointments at least one week in advance to ensure that your preferred time and service is available.
A valid credit card must be on file. All appointments are 100% pre-paid.
Before entering into our facility,
Please do not check in more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. If you arrive early, please wait in your vehicle. (This will ensure minimal people at the salon and allow our techs to follow strict procedures which will ensure your health, safety as well as ours) We appreciate and encourage all of our clients to wear a face covering, and for us too. We will wear face coverings at all time during services. If you arrive without one, please do not hesitate to ask us. Wearing face coverings will provide an additional layer of protection.
Please arrive on time, if you arrive more than 15 min late, we will have to adjust the service time to ensure that we are having enough time to sanitize and properly disinfect our station for the next appointments.
Our unique ventilation system is up and running as usual.
Upon arrival in the salon,
A mask is required prior to entering Desert Beauty Lab and kept on over the nose and mouth the entire time while in Desert Beauty Lab.
Temperature Taking – Your temperature will be taken. Above 100.4 F temperature will not be granted access, and your appointment will be cancelled at no charge.
Our artist will greet you in the lobby, and we kindly ask you wash your hands with soap and water again before the service starts. *We are sorry for multiple hand washing request, BUT THIS IS THE BEST PRACTICE TO PROTECT ALL OF US*
We will of course wash our hands constantly before and after your services, and we will have a GUARD SHIELD in every station as well as 6-ft distance remain between stations at all time.
We ask that you do not bring anyone who is not receiving a service at your appointment time.
Pedicure services:
Since pedicure basins must be sanitized immediately after use, clients will not be allowed drying time in the pedicure stations. please remember to bring your pedicure-friendly (open-toed) footwear, we will temporarily be providing disposable flip flops.
After your services,
You will be provided a one-time-use wax paper to touch our iPad and sign for payment.
Please provide a valid email address and cell number for possible contact tracing.
Please review our covid-19 client requirements before booking an appointment. If you choose to book an appointment, you must acknowledge and understand our new guidelines.
