A Head Spa is a relaxing scalp-and-hair care experience that combines cleansing, personalized care, and soothing water rituals. YUME means “dream” in Japanese, reflecting the calming, dreamlike experience at the heart of the ritual. At Desert Beauty Lab, our YUME-certified approach brings together specialized Japanese Head Spa techniques and thoughtful attention to your comfort—inviting you to slow down, unwind, and enjoy care tailored to you.

At Desert Beauty Lab, we combine specialized Japanese Head Spa techniques with premium equipment and personalized care. As the only YUME-certified Head Spa in Las Vegas, we’re committed to creating an experience that is as thoughtful as it is relaxing—from your initial scalp consultation to the finishing touches of your ritual. Our Takara Belmont YUME chairs offer lounge-style comfort with ergonomic head support, helping you settle in during your treatment. We also use Takara Belmont’s Spa Mist II, which produces a fine mist of microscopic water particles to gently open the hair’s cuticle and enhance deep conditioning. It’s a purposeful addition to your care—not simply steam for atmosphere.Paired with Oway botanical products, customized scalp-and-hair care, and soothing water rituals, these details create an experience designed around you. We don’t just wash your hair—we invite you to slow down and enjoy a moment of care.

Every Head Spa ritual includes a partial blow-dry, leaving your hair approximately 50–60% dry so your ends are no longer dripping. You’re welcome to finish drying your hair at our self-drying station or add a professional blowout for a styled finish. Blowouts are available as an add-on to any Head Spa service and are not included in any ritual.

Please be aware that our Head Spa Treatment may not be suitable for clients with hair extensions, as the products and techniques used could potentially impact the extensions or their adhesive bonds. We are also currently unable to accommodate braids, dreadlocks, and twists due to a lack of specialized tools and expertise. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at (702) 640-0100.

Our products are color-safe and won’t affect freshly colored hair, though some color runoff in water may occur.

Avoid washing your hair on the day of your appointment. Natural oils on your scalp can enhance the effectiveness of the treatment.
